A big thank you to Lyttelton Port Company for their generous sponsorship, which helped us purchase our beautiful new Rotating Bookcase 🤍

It’s already a much-loved addition to our reading space, making it easy for our tamariki to browse, choose and enjoy their favourite books.

Our local Gym opening soon!

The vision is becoming reality 👀

Here’s a closer look at the proposed Harbour Fit gym layout and what members can expect when we open.

From cardio and strength equipment to free weights, stretching space, showers, and changing rooms, we’ve designed Harbour Fit to be a practical, welcoming place for our community to train.

We’re also incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received so far. The number of people who have already signed up has genuinely exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to welcome you through the doors.

What a fun session we had today! Potion making, bubble catching, messy mixing, and sunshine filled play. ✨☀️

Simple invitations to play often become the richest learning moments. Today’s setup was full of scooping, pouring, experimenting, creating, and a whole lot of imagination. 🤍

Thanks to .t for setting us this great activity using the beautiful products from .wanderersnz… the beautiful potion box additions made this little setup extra special. 🥰

We’re back! It’s been a busy couple of weeks preparing our outdoor space, and we couldn’t be prouder of what’s been achieved 💪
There are some really exciting things coming to Diamond Harbour Playcentre, and we’re so looking forward to welcoming everyone back tomorrow.

💦 Sunshine, laughter and lots of learning at Diamond Harbour Playcentre

The tamariki spent the morning building obstacle courses and using the water hose to turn the slide into a waterslide. There was climbing, splashing and plenty of opportunities to take safe risks with their bodies. Through this play they built balance, coordination and confidence while learning to problem-solve and support one another. It’s such a joy to see their strong interest in movement and construction come together in creative and cooperative ways 💛

We’re back for Term 4! ☀️

The sun’s out, the kids are full of energy, and it’s been so lovely seeing everyone back at Playcentre this week.
