Dr Libby proposes the following perspective...
"We don't have to lose weight to be healthy, we have to be healthy to lose weight"
And the more I learn the more I agree with that perspective.
We cannot possibly expect our bodies to do what we ask of them when we constantly put them under pressure of:
🥺Foods they aren't designed to process
🥺Chronic stress
🥺Lack of quality sleep
🥺Minimal movement
The result is a metabolic s^%$storm and our bodies just don't feel safe to burn fat.
But, when all is said and done being healthy doesn't need to be hard. It's quite simple really. The biggest barrier are the stories we tell ourselves.
