Korokoro Matariki Community Celebration
Wednesday 1st July 6.00 - 7.30pm

We would like to warmly invite you and your whānau to come and celebrate Matariki and Puanga with us. Matariki is based around three main elements: remembering the past, celebrating the present and looking forward to the future.

6.00 - 6.20: Meet on the field to officially open the new playground.
Make your way to the classrooms to see some presentations - each classroom will have two sessions. Session 1: 6.20 - 6.35 Session 2: 6.40 - 6.55

6.55: Collect your children from their classes and head to the hall for some Kai in the hall.

Thanks to Ella from the Home and School who is organising Hua Whenua (vegetable soup) which will be available after the shows. Leading up to the evening students are encouraged to bring in vegetables to donate towards making the soup.
There is an optional Koha for soup and any proceeds will go towards the Year 7 and 8 camp in Nelson.

A reminder our School Disco is coming up - Friday 19th June!

Year 1-4, 6.00pm - 6.45pm
Years 5-8, 7.00pm - 8.00pm

Tickets are $5 each. Please bring back your Disco notice and select a favourite song for our DJ's to play on the night!

Snacks to purchase on the night, please bring coins.
