This morning’s whānau time was extra special as we farewelled Shirley Mooney, lovingly known as ‘Oma’. Shirley will be leaving us at the end of Term 3, but with so much happening in our Kura we wanted to make sure Shirley has a proper farewell. We will all miss you dearly Oma, thank you for all your support, your kindness, your caring nature and above all thank you for your effort and Mahi that you have put in whilst being part of our Kura.

Tot ziens, until we meet each other again. 🩷

Watching our tamariki practice their dances is such an honour, we cannot wait to share this honour with everyone during their performances.

Don't forget to get your tickets to our production "Through the Decades". You can purchase these for $5 per ticket, from the school office. We would love to see you there! 🌟

We are all kids at heart, and that was evident when these Ezy Gliders came out. Some of our Kaiako and Kaimahi quality tested these ride-ons, and it's safe to say they are a hit! Tamariki enjoyed them as well. 🤩

It has been another busy term here at Te Puni; we can't believe how fast time is flying!

Tamariki and Kaiako are preparing and practising for our production "Through the Decades" that will be performed at the end of this term. Everyone is doing an amazing job, and we cannot wait to showcase all the hard work that has gone into our production.

Te Puni's extraordinary Kapa Haka Group had the pleasure of performing for the residents of Enliven - Longview Home this week. After their performance, tamariki had the opportunity to meet and speak with the residents. Together, they shared some biscuits and lemonade thanks to Enliven.

PIES! Our Pie fundraiser is live from today. Pies are baked to order for us by Centa bakery just down the road off Oxford street. Pies are high quality and delicious, and a great way to warm up in this wintery weather.
Every order helps us fundraise for Kapa Haka uniforms so our performers feel proud and connected! Or, if you prefer not to order pies but want to support us, there is a donation option available on the orders page.
Orders close 6th August, and pick up is 20th August. To order you can either:
Go to https://raised.nz/f/pie-fundraiser-20260097
Scan the QR code on the FB graphic
