🌟Grandparents Day - Thursday 18th June -10.30am-1pm 🌟

We are two days away from our lovely Grandparents' Day here at school this Thursday 18th June!

This will begin at 10:30am in the school hall with a mihi whakatau to welcome everyone. Grandparents will then be invited to go into the classrooms to share some learning, before we have kai together.

This week is also International Languages Week. We are asking students to come to school on Thursday dressed in clothing to represent their culture, and to bring along a plate to share that is from their culture.

We are all looking forward to another wonderful day and sharing yummy kai together!

An extra special assembly today as all classes shared some of their learning from Vaiaso o le Gagana Sāmoa - Samoa Language Week, as well as our usual awards being given out.

Well done to all of our award and value card draw recipients, you all do a great job of showing our AROHA values!

Every class shared something really special today, we hope all of the tamariki come home celebrating and sharing what they've learned throughout this special cultural week 🇼🇸

We have had the best week celebrating Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa - Samoa Language Week, especially today! 🌺

A big thank you to Aurelia Tufuga who put in so much love and time to cook us all panikeke and sapasui! All of our tamariki got to enjoy this yummy food today, while embracing and learning about Samoan culture.

We are so lucky to have so many incredible whānau that help us learn and celebrate as a school!
