Junior Showcase is on this afternoon!

Come along to learn more about reading at home with your tamariki and how you can support their phonics learning.

Everyone will take home their new book bags with weekly books to read with your child.

Afternoon tea provided too ☺️

Room 4 whānau will be based in Room 1 for this, Room 8 and 9 will be together in their rooms.

We hope to see you there!

Some fun for the term! Mutfi themed Thursday starts this week. Prizes for the best dressed!

Junior whānau, we invite you to come and join us for our Showcase Afternoon TOMORROW!

Tomorrow, Wednesday 29th July from 2pm-2:30pm, our junior rooms will be sharing knowledge of how to help your child with their reading at home.

This will be a relaxed way to learn some tips and tricks from our kaiako that will support your tamariki with reading outside of school.

All junior students will also be starting to take home book bags, which will be first given out at this Showcase Afternoon. Each week your child will have a new book to practice reading at home and a phonics card to practice.

We will provide some yummy afternoon tea too!

Room 8 & 9 will be together, with Room 4 whānau going into Room 1 for this learning. We hope to see you there!

We are so proud of our Year 7/8 netball team today! Having their first game in the second grade, in the cold and rain, and they took the win!

They all played their hearts out and showed that Tui Glen deserves to be in this grade. Well done netballers! 👏🏻

Our Year 7/8 Netball team play tomorrow (Saturday 25th) at 2:30pm, on Court 7.

Please have players there by 2:10pm ☺️

Our team has moved up to the second grade this term, the highest our school has been! Ka rawe koutou 👏🏻

They may not have had the sunshine that Wednesdays trip did, but they still had a lot of fun today!

🚨Room 1&4 Reminder🚨

Tomorrow Rooms 1 and 4 are off on their trip to Space Place in Wellington!

It is important that all tamariki are at school by 8:50am to ensure they don't miss the bus.

Whānau helpers, please arrive by 8:40am and check in with the teachers.

Students will need to bring a packed lunch, water bottle, jersey and jacket. This trip will go ahead even if it's raining, so please pack jackets! 🌧️

We are looking forward to a fun day out!
