Imagine Childcare Imagine Childcare is an early childhood education centre that is entirely child-focussed. We fundame We are situated in central Petone on 77 Hutt Road.

We cater to children from 4 months to 5 years, with separate areas for infants and toddlers and preschoolers. All of our teachers are very experienced and qualified, with a passion for teaching and learning, keeping up to date with new research. Activities and experiences will be available both inside and outside during the day that will meet and extend your child’s interests. Centre Hours are 7.30am - 5.30pm, closed weekends and statuary holidays.

Rugby is currently a keen interest of ngā tamariki at Imagine Burnham St. Developing key social skills as they engage with one another in team sports, physical skills and agility as they run around chasing after the ball, tamariki also thrive through making connections with their local area by visiting the Petone Rec. We have even turned our Fridays into dedicated supporter days leading into All Blacks games!

This year's theme, "Matariki herenga waka," is all about inclusion and encouraging all people to celebrate Matariki together. Matariki is such an important event for us here at Imagine Burnham St, and whānau are warmly invited to join us. Together, we shared an evening of waiata, kai, and even toasted marshmallows over a beautiful hot fire. Tamariki each brought in vegetables to add to a delicious soup that we prepared together, and we were delighted to have past tamariki and whānau join us - an opportunity to rekindle and connect.
