Join our facilitators for an interactive workshop on how to smoothly transition your child from kindergarten to school. Ask as many questions as you like and there will be an opportunity to win a beautiful hamper at the end plus a free morning tea!

Parent Workshop this week has been POSTPONED.

We unfortunately need to postpone our parent workshop that was to be held on Thursday 2nd March as our facilitator has had an injury and is out of action for several weeks.

We are very sorry to everyone who was looking forward to attending this workshop but we will reschedule. Further information will be provided at a later date.

It's Moera Christmas in the Park this Saturday 10th December from 2pm-4pm. A fun afternoon for the community with a bouncy castle, sausage sizzle, play trailer, and mini-cars. See you there. (Cancelled if wet)

We are out at Petone Bunnings again tomorrow morning from 8:30 till 4:30 selling delicious sausages for our annual fundraiser.
They are $2.50 for sausage, $2 for drinks and $1.50 for lollie bags.

Please come down and support us, the funds will go towards buying a new water trough plus some well needed water toys for our lovely tamariki. Bring on summer!

To our HCK Whānau

Our parent and whānau workshop will be held on Monday 9th May at 7pm - A FREE online presentation for whānau who have tamariki enrolled in a HCK Kindergarten.

Kathryn Berkett will be presenting on what physically happens in the brain when we learn. She will discuss how our environments impact learning and concentrate on the importance of modelling, reinforcing and repetition. She will also discuss the importance of learning from other children and what we can do to enhance the learning process.
