Ia Manuia le A*o Tuto'atasi!
Happy Samoan Independence Day!
Manuia le vaiaso o le gagana Sāmoa.
Happy Samoan Language Week.
This year's official theme is: "'E afua mai i mauga tetele manuia o le nu'u"(From the high mountains are the blessings of the village.)
This proverb serves as a beautiful reminder that language, identity, and strength are deeply rooted in community, elders, and those who came before us.
The students of Tamaiti o le Pasifika have a busy week planned with some lunchtime activities organised for their peers throughout the school to join in and enjoy.
All students are encouraged to wear traditional Samoan/Pasifika clothing everyday this week.

Well done to our school rugby 7s team who competed at the Nairnville 7s tournament on Thursday. Unfortunately we weren’t able to bring the trophy back but 3rd place is still pretty awesome!
A big thank you to our coaches Waaka & Ali, & to Ellis who helped on the day.
Also, a huge congratulations to Shylah who made the tournament team!
Here are some snapshots from the day.
