It's finals time for our WIS teams playing in the HVB competition and semi-finals time for our team playing in the SBC competition.
All the best WIS kids!!!

Playing uniforms will be collected immediately after your child's game, so they will need to bring a change of clothes to go home in. Also, please ensure your child's basketball fees have been paid to the office.

Summer in action at AIMS. Supported by her WIS mates

Day #4 of AIMS saw the last pool game where unfortunately we went down in a disappointing loss to Whanganui who were hungrier for the result.
However, our girls came back with the necessary hunger and drive to beat Te Puke in a redemption game helping us off the bottom to play for 5th for our final game.

Day #5 of AIMS and our final game was yet another redemption game against Whanganui for a 5th place finish!!
From start to finish our WIS girls played like everything depended on it, which it did!

An amazing finish for the day and the tournament for our WIS Wāhine Toa 7s team with a 5th place finish!!

5-5-5!!!

Day #3 at AIMS for our rugby 7s girls was a tough one.
Our WIS girls really brought their game against Manurewa. Although we went down, we didn’t make it easy for them and fought hard!
Game 2, we once again faced Glen Eden but unfortunately we weren’t able to replicate the same energy and smarts as in our first game.

So, it was a lovely way to end the day by heading down to gymnastics to support Summer. We’re so proud to announce that Summer came 5th overall in tumbling and earlier in the week Peyton came 5th overall!! Congratulations Summer and Peyton

All our girls continue to do WIS proud!

Day #2 at AIMS for our rugby 7s team saw the girls starting to make their mark at the games!
A strong win against Otumoetai Intermediate followed by a close loss but a well played game against a strong Te Puke Intermediate team.
The game of the day was played against the highly rated Royal Oak team, where our girls took a great win against them.

We’re very proud of the girls who continue to battle on the field,
putting it all out there!

Bring on day #3 and play-offs!
