A video that summarizes our Curriculum and what happens in our FALE of learning.

What makes Pasifika Early Learning, Taita so unique?
We have a Pasifika Model that outlines the importance of our Curriculum design in our FALE of Learning, The FALE.

"We, Pasifika people, believe that it takes a whole village to raise a child. The Fale is a safe caring and loving place where children are nurtured and taught their cultural values and identity. It is a place where they are encouraged to learn and develop relationships. A place where they feel a sense of belonging and can call home. The Fale brings everyone closer together. The Fale is used as a model to support our curriculum design and evaluation process." - PEL, Taita, 2019

IMPORTANT NOTICE WHANAU
PLEASE READ 🙂

On behalf of PEL, Taita Team,

We would like to extend our thanks and applauds to our whanau for doing such an amazing job at handling your bubble during this time. We hope everyone is well and safe and our dear tamariki are being kind to you all. We miss you all very much. We hope all of this blows over, so we can be reunited with all our beautiful tamariki.

We apologize for being quiet during this lockdown, every staff member is working hard to ensure we have everything set up in our FALE before all our tamariki are able to come back to our centre, and documentation is up to date.

I know these are tough times for all of us and we are doing the best we can to ensure that everyone is keeping safe, following alert levels, and staying home.

As the Prime Minister noted on Friday, we will be in level 3 on Wednesday (1st of September). What will this look like for PEL, Taita? The service will ONLY be open to essential workers. For more details, please read the attachment below.

If you have any other inquiry please contact Centre admin Sieni at [email protected] . If you are unwell, stay home, and please do contact your GP or Healthline (0800 855 066), to seek advice about getting tested.

He waka eke noa: We are all in this together.

Kind Regards

Kuinivia Alapati-Vaitupu
Assistant head teacher
