We finish our Support Staff Appreciation week with a huge shout out to an incredibly vital part of our kura - our teacher aide team - Dina, Tara, Diane, Pauleen, Rochelle and Leanne.
Our teacher aides work incredibly hard every day, delivering learning programmes, helping with toileting, keeping kids safe and making sure disabled and neurodivergent tamariki can participate in their learning and in our school environment.
We simply could not do our jobs without them. We are so lucky to have such dedicated kaimahi with huge hearts for our tamariki.

kia ora e te whānau,
In today’s post we acknowledge our wonderful office team - Megan and Kathryn.
The Office is a dynamic and busy hub of our kura. Both, Megan and Kathryn have to wear many different hats on any given day. Some of the many things they do to help our kura are, attendance, enrolments, help tamariki when they are sick, pay the bills , answer phone calls and respond to emails, and administer medication.
We are very lucky to have such a dedicated and hard working office team. Thanks Megan and Kathryn.

Our second appreciation post for this week is for Saynab, our lunch champion. Saynab is diligent, patient and kind and has been super flexible dealing with significant changes to our lunch programme this year as we have gone to a serving in school model. Thank you Saynab for all you do, and a shoutout to her husband Essa who sometimes supports her in her mahi as well as Dale and the team at Star Group.

Kia ora e te whānau,
This week we are placing a lens on our amazing support staff team at kura. Today, we celebrate our caretaker Jonny, who wears many hats around our kura.
Today alone, Jonny cleared branches and debris from the school grounds, installed a new medical cabinet, ensured gates were closed, completed grounds maintenance, and also helped several of our tamariki in a teacher aide capacity.
Jonny, has made a significant difference for our kura, and we appreciate the mahi he does to keep our school looking good and safe.
Thanks Jonny. You are a legend!
