What a beautiful day at the Marlborough Tackle 7s Tournament at Lansdowne Park today. Our students - Ollie, Ali, Harrison, Delta and Tessa joined up with the other Pelorus Cluster schools to enter two teams. Everyone played hard and had a great day! Well done for getting involved 👏

Back in May, the children at Linkwater School wrote letters to a new pen friend at Good Foundation School in Tetrem, Ghana. Jaimee (middle room teacher) took these letters with her on her travels to GFS with the Choose Love - Ghana volunteer team in June.

She brought back their replies a couple of weeks ago and now the students are in the process of writing letters back. This time we will post them by 'snail mail' and patiently wait for a response. We sent artwork and photographs with our letters and we all got a photo back of our penpal too. It has been fun learning about the lives of the children in Ghana and sharing stories about our lives here in Marlborough.

Yesterday was our last Funky Friday session for this year and what fun it was! The bottle rockets were launched with much excitement and the winning rocket travelled 63 metres! 🚀 Thanks so much to all who made this year's Funky Fridays possible, the students have loved it!
