History will be played on the MCG Turf one month from this week.

All the best to Matt Page and the team at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) as they prepare for the first regular-season NFL game to ever be played on Australian soil.

We are also very proud to be part of this history.

See you soon, Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers đź‘‹

One month to go.

Trialled, tested, and proven. This is what we mean by 'tested'.

Here is a look behind the scenes at our Kimihia-based, ISTA-accredited seed testing facility and the rigorous testing that goes into every cultivar we bring to market.

Just like our cousins in the forage brand, we want our customers to be confident in each of our cultivars and to truly know what's in their bag before they sow.

Why does the testing process matter?
Because every test our lab performs leads to better quality seed and better results in the field.

It is ASTMA 2026 week here in Melbourne, Australia!

We've been to a few spots already, including a tour of Royal Melbourne Golf Club with Richard Forysth, being shown around AAMI Park by Turf Managers Troy Jordan and Jake Anderson, and finally a pitchwalk of the illustrious Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) with Matt Page and his team.

We will all be at the Australian Sports Turf Managers' Association Conference today and tomorrow, at site #34.

Come along and let's talk turf.

It's fascinating to observe the performance of different Kentucky Bluegrass cultivars here in New Zealand conditions.

The Kentucky Bluegrass (KBG) evaluation trials at our Kimihia Research Centre offer us an excellent opportunity to observe the variation of adaptation across this species in our local climate.

Leaf rust is still a challenge with Kentucky Bluegrass in the New Zealand environment.

Country Club Launceston has only a few holes left to go before the 3-year project comes to a head.

The result is a stunning-looking resort-style course that will be well received by local and interstate golfers.

The course features MacDonald creeping bentgrass greens, Colosseum and Soprano fairways and DuraTurf In the Rough fine fescue.

Well done to the maintenance team and to Black Diamond Golf on an impressive surface.

PGG Wrightson Turf are proud to recognise Ryan Thistoll as the 2026 recipient of the NZRTMA Emerging Racecourse Manager Award.

Ryan is pictured below alongside our Waikato Territory Manager, Karen Crake, shortly after she presented him with the award.

It was pleasing for the conference attendees to have Kent Lean, last year's winner, send a video through to the conference in support of Ryan, passing on the baton.

Go well, Ryan. Congratulations from all of us.
