Hakataramea Mobile Kindy

Our Hakataramea Mobile Kindy is selling Kings Seeds to fundraise money. $1.50 of every packet sold will go directly towards our kindy and the children who attend it.

Now is the perfect time to stock up on seeds as we slowly creep closer to spring and warmer days!

Please see the list below and get in contact if you want to purchase any.

Orders need to be placed by 16th August and you should receive your seeds by early September 🌱

Reminder - last session for the term is tomorrow!!

We will there take a 2 week break and we will return on the 21st July for the beginning of Term 3.

Today we headed to Riverstone Kitchen for our term 2 excursion. It was a fresh start so we headed inside for fluffies and morning tea while the mums treated themselves to a hot drink and something yummy.

With warm hands and full bellies we explored the gardens finding some peacocks. We then headed to the playground and fort (there were a few trolls and dragons)!!

Thank you for having us and we enjoyed it!

Please bring normal supplies for your children. Mums will be welcome to purchase coffees / cakes from the restaurant.

At today’s session we had Jay the policeman visit us 👮🏻‍♂️ He told us all about that equipment he uses and showed us inside his police car! The kids got to try on some police uniforms and we listened to the different sirens on the car.

At this week’s session we planted our spring bulbs! We dug little holes in our garden and placed the bulbs in with the pointy end facing up. We will look forward to seeing daffodils and tulips when they bloom 🌷🌷

Our Kindy garden has had an upgrade!!!

We turned an area that was hardly used into a walk on garden with a sensory path! We also added a leavers corner where our children have their very plaque once they move onto school.
