GUTS to speak out …
GUTS to say NO…enough is enough!!!
GUTS to protect the rights of the child .
GUTS to challenge our ‘ systems’ ….
GUTS to stand strong as a team and SAY …. We deserve better !!!
GUTS to stay true to our beliefs and put people over paper …
GUTS to keep the HEART at the centre of everything we do 🧡
And in this world now we need the GUTS to be true to ourselves.🧡🧡🧡

Our tamariki were fascinated by the snails that they found in our garden today. They learnt so much and did an amazing job at 'observational drawing'. A fun day in the sun for everyone 😊

Last week we had a friendly visitor pop in - Constable William Flapper! 👮‍♂️👍

The tamariki were very interested and full of questions! They learnt about keeping safe at all times and always doing the right thing! There was loads of excitement as they got to try on the uniform and see all the gadgets in the police car! 🚔

Lots of learning and lots of fun! 🚨

🥕🥦🍎 Mahinga Kai 🍎🥦🥕

Our tamariki had fun picking kale and cavolo nero, a small cauliflower and adding some riwai that were
uncovered in our mahinga while weeding.

We cooked these turning them into chips both kale and riwai/potatoes.
They had to be patient while waiting for them to cook and took turns handing the plate around to share.

The broccoli and caulis are growing well and the carrots and beetroot are moving ahead. Its fun to watch
them grow!!!

We also have flowers on our 3 blueberry bushes which is very exciting. Yay I hope we have a great crop this Summer! ☀️
