Today we were learning all about health and safety, including the correct way to climb and use a ladder safely. One of the key things we focused on was maintaining 3 points of contact at all times — two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand. Safety first, skills for life!👷‍♂️🪜

Great hands-on learning happening out in the field with our Valley Education ag students 👏🌱

Cedric is pictured disconnecting a water trough from its supply, using multi-grip pliers to loosen the hose fitting, an important skill when it comes to routine farm maintenance and repairs. Kayden is also getting stuck in, removing a trough from the paddock as part of the same process.

Building practical skills like these helps prepare our students for real-life farming situations and keeps things running smoothly on the land 🚜🌿

Today we did a activity on how to use good communication! The students had to write a step-by-step set of instructions on how to make one. It didn’t take long for them to realise how important the small details are what seems obvious in your head isn’t always clear to someone else!

There were lots of laughs as we followed the instructions exactly as written, with some very interesting results! Well done to Michael, who managed to get it spot on the first time, awesome work! 👏

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented cleaner to help maintain a clean, welcoming environment

Hours: 2 days a week, 2 hours per day (4 hours total)

Key Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and wipe all areas
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and kitchens
- Empty bins and maintain tidy spaces

Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Pays attention to detail and takes pride in their work
Previous cleaning experience is a plus
