Sarah Sharpe has worked in education since 1985 in the UK and New Zealand. She is Speld NZ qualified, and became a Dyslexia Specialist Tutor, joining Kāpiti College in 2008. There she initiated and established neurodiverse-friendly practices which have gained national recognition for their effectiveness in producing high levels of academic success. Since establishing Sharpe Minds, Sarah has spearh

eaded professional development for schools and colleges so they may better serve their neurodiverse students throughout the North Island. She has also presented on working with said students on how to implement successful strategies and use appropriate resources at workshops, conferences, and symposiums throughout the country. Most notably, Sarah has spoken in parliament on several occasions and has hosted members of the Education and Science Select Committee. What a pleasure and privilege to have worked with Tony at Kāpiti College. An incredibly dedicated Principal who always kept the students best interests his priority. He was critical in supporting the Neurodiversity Programme we established which changed the way students' perceived themselves and how they were perceived by others. Focusing on their strengths and 'superpowers' Tony's 100% support led to many students going on to achieve the success that they deserved and were certainly capable of.
As a parent I could also not speak highly enough of Tony's dedication, support and integrity.
Ngā mihi nui Tony. Enjoy an extremely well deserved retirement with your whānau.
