Khandallah Kindergarten High Quality Early Childhood Education Te Roto Mara o Nga Tamariki, the Maori name of our kindergarten, means Garden of the Children.

This reflects our philosophy of providing a creative, stimulating and rich curriculum in a welcoming, homely well-resourced and cared for environment. We promote respectful and reciprocal relationships and we acknowledge and respect te Tiriti o Waitangi and the diversity of Aotearoa. The kindergarten is located in central Khandallah and is close to the shopping village, bus routes and community fa

cilities. Our building is an attractive well maintained older style villa, set in a pleasant playground with established trees and gardens. The kindergarten has been providing a professional service for 50 years.

Khandallah kindergarten currently has spaces available every day. We take children from two years old. Whānau Manaaki Kindergartens are quite unique in that they fund 20 hours for two-year-olds too! We are open Monday to Friday: 8:30am - 2:30pm and during school term breaks. You can find us at 24 Everest Street

On Saturday September 20 (the day after Suffrage day) there's a day to celebrate women and campaign for pay equity. The government scrapped 33 pay equity claims under urgency and changed the law to entrench the pay gap earlier this year. There'll be a march to parliament from Midland Park leaving at 10.30, a rally at parliament and activities for the whole family at St Paul's Cathedral across the road from parliament. Come along with your family!
