These symmetry self-portraits are a chance for the children to look at themselves, notice their unique features, and have fun creating a reflection of themselves. It’s beautiful to see how each child brings their own individual personality and creativity into their portrait.

Our tamariki have been busy exploring, creating, and learning through play! They have enjoyed planting and caring for their very own fairy garden, using their imaginations while learning about nature and how plants grow. Alongside this, the children have been on an exciting dinosaur adventure, discovering different dinosaur species, hatching dinosaur and creating our own Jurassic park… sparking curiosity and encouraging conversations about the prehistoric world. These hands-on experiences support creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and a love of learning in a fun and meaningful way … which is all guided by Te whariki ♥️♥️

Headstart had a wonderful time during the holidays, filled with exciting adventures and lots of fun! The children enjoyed bike riding, making kebabs, playing a variety of ball games, and staying active outdoors with their friends. One of the highlights was a very special trip to the Parrot place, where the children got to hand feed and hold the beautiful birds. It was a memorable experience encouraging confidence, curiosity, and sometimes bravery… but also a love for animals while creating happy holiday memories together.

Last week we ventured out into the community to visit The SUSHI GALLERY, where they explored and got to choose our own Sushi to eat! The tamariki had the opportunity to exchange money to purchase their sushi, supporting their developing numeracy skills in a real-life setting. There were lots of smiles, new experiences, and special memories shared together. ♥️♥️ Thank you so much for accomodating us Quan and Bella
