Enjoying the autumn leaves falling...
Our beautiful Acacia tree has been shedding its leaves for winter. Our tamariki have been raking up the leaves, making nests and throwing the leaves up in the air. oh the JOY

The weather has been very cold and a lot of heavy rain recently. This was one of those days. We are fortunate having our large sleep room right next door to the toddler room so we can have two spaces when the weather is not so great to be outside. We set up our soft play equipment and our rocker and our tamariki had a blast. The tamariki who preferred quieter play were engaging in activities in our main room with Trish. At Manaaki we have small group numbers and great ratio’s and very happy tamariki. We also have a covered in deck area that we can use. Feel free to pop in and take a look at our centre.

Manawatia a Matariki
We had our Matariki celebration on Friday night beautiful clear sky no rain and a great turn out of our whanau and extended whanau. The centre looked amazing, our kaiako worked hard on the night and building up to our event. Amazing, mihi arohanui ki nga kaiako. Our tamariki did their kapa haka items with pride and our talented kaiako Jules did her fire poi and Tihema was our musician for the evening. The best Matariki so far. Thank you whanau for taking time out of your busy schedules to join us.
