The Joy of Creating
Making a sandcastle for the joy of it differs from ants making an anthill or birds making a nest. The child making the sandcastle is also able to make pancakes or scones, bouquets and garlands, a hut or a tent, a painting or a dance routine. It's kind of like a cosmic open-source intelligence our children have access to and which strengthens the more they use it. There is so much joy when we use our creativity, it's what we were made to do.

What a lovely message we just had from a lovely family who have left to start a new adventure in Australia.

"We have to say goodbye. Tomorrow is Santiago's last day at the preschool. Our family will start a new adventure. But I don't want to leave New Zealand without say a huge THANK YOU to all the amazing people who work hard everyday supporting our families. Like a latina mum is hard for me to trust in someone to look after my boys but since the moment the I came to this awesome place I felt that my youngest treasure would be loved. He is really happy at the preschool and always he arrives with a smile on his face and that means a lot for our family. You'll always be part of Santiago story and we are very happy with this. THANK YOU SO MUCH FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS."
