For the first time we are sending 2 teams to AIMS games in Tauranga. A netball and a rippa rugby team involving 23 students. It has taken a huge effort to get them here and they are excited and ready to go. Thank you to all the whānau and the community for your support and help with fundraising. We even made the AIMS games magazine. Updates for the week will be posted on here.

🌊✨Something special is coming… ✨🌊

Our tamariki have been working hard behind the scenes, and we’re excited to finally share the upcoming show 'Te Awa o Taumarere' with our whānau and community.

A beautiful collaboration between Kawakawa Primary, Moerewa School, and the Royal New Zealand Ballet, celebrating the story of our awa, and our tamariki. 💙💚

🚪 Gates open 5pm
🍔 Kai available from 5pm
🎭 Show 6pm–7pm
💚 Koha entry on the night

Notes will be coming home this week with those tamariki involved in the show.

Kia ora Whānau. We have made the decision to postpone our Fun Run for tomorrow until week 10. We have so many students who are sick at the moment, we have staff away tomorrow and this weather is so unpredictable. Hopefully on Thursday in Week 10 we will have a fine day for lots of fun.
