“Although it is small it is a treasure”

Last night we had the pleasure of watching our tamariki preform along their Tuakana at Kaukapakapa Whakamana 2025, what an honour and privilege it was for our tamariki to preform.

Our older tamariki have been practicing at Kaukapakapa School every Wednesday, then bringing the knowledge back and passing this down to the Teina tamariki.

We are so incredibly proud of every student who got up and preformed in front of everybody, they showed so much mana in their performance and you could feel the mauri in the room.

🐴🐓Kiwi Valky Farm trip was so much fun!
Our tamariki got hands on experience with so many different animals, feeding the animals, holding them, and even a pony ride! I do think the bus ride was the favourite!

🖤Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2025 🖤
Celebrating Te Wiki o te Reo Māori week is always a fun week for us. Alongside this all our kaiako have gained their Ngā Uri a Tāne- Aromatawai Poutahi through the Kāhui Ako o Kaipara.

We are lucky enough to be able to work together with Kaukapakapa School to gain our badges. This badge not only represents the level of Reo that our kaiako have but also our commitment to Te Triti o Waitangi and the unique culture of the all mighty Kaipara.
Our Kaiako wear these badges with pride 💛

At Kererū Kids we LOVE a dress up day!

Today’s was in honour of Cure Kids NZ- Red Nose Day!

Tigers, Cows, Fairy’s, Witches, Elsa, Ana, Spider man and woman, Bell, and so many more!

Thanks for our wonderful kaiako who are always right in the middle to have fun with the tamariki!
