Summerscents is based in Northland, New Zealand, on a lifestyle block west of Whangarei. We grow, infuse and distil many of the ingredients used in our products. We keep our own bee hives to support the gardens and property using the beeswax to produce our nourishing range of goods. Our ingredients are all natural and where not produced on site, are sourced from reputable suppliers.

A Natural Skincare and Intro Fragrance class I taught at Te Kamo Highschool for Community Education (CEW) Whangarei. We made three fragrance blends and four skincare products in a relaxed, fun day.
And did a bit of technical learning along the way. 😊

Posting a parcel of Hand Creams Foot Creams and Lavender Hydrosol off to the Hokianga I-site in Opononi. A new, northern outlet.
Come summer the insect repellent is also heading north. 🙂

It's been a crappy growing season. This year my lavender plants just couldn't handle it so ... hardly any lavender oil. I have killed 150 gherkin plants before finally getting a few to fruit. All of which means not a lot to sell😕. So today is my last at The Whangarei Growers Market. My skin care range is still available at The Bach Art Collective in the Town Basin Whangarei and at Wholey Health in Whakapara. You can of course contact me and I am happy to post. Unfortunately though...not lavender oil
