Last night, our Kea’s finally had their CASTLE WAR!! 🏰⚔️

This was a battle they had been eagerly anticipating for weeks, and it definitely lived up to expectations!

As the dust settled and the last ping pong ball was launched, the castles eventually crumbled under a pile of very enthusiastic Kea’s… and the epic battle was finally done! 😂

What an awesome evening filled with laughter, strategy, flying ping pong balls and plenty of castle destruction! 💥🏰

Tonight our Venturers went fancy-like and held their McFancy. Turns out McDonald’s tastes a lot fancier when everyone dresses up. 😂🍔

A great night of laughs, good company, and Venturers doing things their own way!

We are going to miss you Monster! 🥹💚 Have an absolutely amazing time and make the most of every adventure that comes your way!

We can’t wait to hear all about your travels, the amazing things you get up to, and all the stories you’ll bring home with you! 🌎✨

Tonight our Keas took to the skies (well… almost! 😉) with a visit to the Whangarei Flying Club Inc! We got to see some awesome aircrafts, learn about planes, and learn all about airport and aircraft safety
The team at the Flying Club taught us heaps about flying and what it takes to become a pilot one day! ✈️ 👩‍✈️ 👨‍✈️
And for some of our young people, that day might not be as far away as they think — you can take a trial flight from just 9 years old for only $100! 😲
If you’re interested in learning to fly Whangarei Flying Club is the best place to hang out!

A huge BRAVO to the Whangarei Flying Club for welcoming us, sharing your knowledge and inspiring the next generation of pilots!

We’ll definitely be back! 🛩️

Kea Paihia Sleepover!
We had such an amazing time staying at the Paihia Sea Scout Hall!
This weekend we focused on our oceans badge and talked about the impact pollution has on our environment
The Kea’s were so worried about the rubbish from the road side getting into the ocean that it took us twice as long as usual to get from Waitangi to Haruru falls along the footpath because they had to pick up everything we could find and we ended up with 2 big bags of Rubbish!
We stopped at Haruru falls for a packed lunch then headed down the bush track back to the hall
After over 10km of walking our Kea had about 5 minutes of chill time before getting straight back into playing
We had nachos for dinner then had a campfire where we invested our newest Kea to our group! And of course s’mores were called for in celebration
On Sunday we had breakfast then headed to the beach for some relaxing fun in the sand
At the very end of our camp one of our parents decided to join us officially as a leader!!! He saw how much fun we all have and decided he wanted in 😀
