🐉NORTHLAND TANIWHA🐉

Our AIMS Rugby 7s Team were given a very last minute opportunity to go to Arnold Rae Park and meet the Northland Taniwha and the Ranfurly Shield. Awesome afternoon, the boys were ecstatic , got to meet some awesome players and be a part of great kaupapa👌🏽

🏃KIS CROSS COUNTRY (TE HIKU ZONES) 🏃‍♀️

Yesterday, 38 students from KIS represented their kura at the Te Hiku Zones Cross Country. What an awesome bunch of students! They managed to all complete the track and come off knowing they did their absolute best. Their efforts reflected in their results which saw KIS victorious in three races and top 8 finishes throughout. Amazing mahi👌🏽

All in all, it was a great day for KIS and well done to all our students who took part.

🤾🏼‍♂️KIS KI-O-RAHI🤾🏽‍♀️

Our KIS students had an awesome day at the Ki-O-Rahi Festival. They demonstrated awesome skills, competitive drive and great teamwork. Though all our students were a mix of all eight classes, they managed to identify what it takes to work together and come off the field knowing they did their best👍🏽

To prepare for the Matariki Festival on Tuesday at the Kaitaia College Top Fields, can all students who’ve been selected bring their PE Gear for a practise tomorrow.

Also, those students who still haven’t brought their permission forms back need to return them tomorrow.

🏃‍♀️K.I.S CROSS COUNTRY 🏃🏼

Cross country will be happening this Friday 7th of August from 10:20am - 1pm. Students must have their P.E Gear to compete.

They will be competing in their age group as of the 1st of January 2026

Block 2 - Girls (10:20am - 11:30am)

Block 3 - Boys (11:50am - 1pm)

12 year old boys

If you are wanting to come and watch your tamariki, please make your way to the court as our students will be running towards the back field and the front field. Please do not ring the office to ask what time your child is running. Refer to the schedule above.
