Kia ora whānau,

We had a great day at cross country on Thursday! It was awesome to see the tamariki getting stuck in, giving it their best and supporting each other.

Here’s the link to the photos from the day. There are some awesome shots in there!

Every Friday after assembly, Room 6 spends time reading with our younger students. This is an opportunity to promote rangatiratanga and mahi tahi, while building positive relationships across our kura.

These reading sessions help create strong connections between our senior and junior students. They give our younger tamariki older role models they can trust and turn to if they ever need help or support, whether in the classroom or out on the playground.

We want every child to feel connected, valued, and supported from the day they start at our kura until the day they leave. Guiding Pāmapūria Lerners To Thrive! Our tamariki absolutely love these Friday reading sessions, and they have become a special part of our school week.

What a wonderful day today, for the start of Term 3, 2026. Welcome back e te whānau.

We welcomed so many new tamariki, their whānau and new kaimahi/staff this morning for our mihi whakatau in the hall. Ngā mihi to our manukura/head boy Finn and māreikura/head girl Te Ahurei for their kōrero and our kōtiro for leading our waiata.

The weather was kind to us today and everyone enjoyed connecting back with their peers and friends, whilst enjoying the sunshine outside 🌞

Love this video of Kopius and his whānau this morning 🫶🏼
