Mõrena koutou, one more day to go, while we prepare for re-opening.

At Alert Level 2, there is low risk of community transmission and it provides us with a lot more opportunities to engage and connect with others. However there are still a number of public health requirements we all need to follow. Please continue to monitor your health and do not bring your tamariki in if they are not well.

For us, all the required safety precautions for Alert Level 2 will be in place which include following all the recommendations from the public health experts. This means we will regularly clean and disinfect high touch surfaces, encourage everyone to frequently wash their hands and cough and sneeze into their elbow.

While physical distancing is not a requirement in early learning services, we will be doing our best to keep physical distance between adults and keeping spaces well-ventilated while maintaining the required temperature.

Face coverings are not required to be worn. The decision to wear a face covering at the service is up to staff members and adults visiting the service and whatever their decision is it will be respected.

If you are not sure what all the rules are for Alert Level 2 when you are out and about, then the following information may be useful to you:

· COVID-19-Alert-Levels-summary-table.pdf (covid19.govt.nz)

Please don’t hesitate to contact us, if there is something you need assistance with.

We are looking froward to welcoming tamariki & whānau back apõpõ 😊

Mõrena koutou e te whānau,

You will have heard the Government’s decision New Zealand beyond the northern and southern boundaries of Auckland moving to Alert Level 2 commencing from 11:59pm Tuesday 7 September. Auckland, will remain in Alert Level 4 until at least 11:59pm Tuesday 14 September.

MoE have advised us that they are working with the Ministry of Health to turn the new Health Order into guidance and will send this out as soon as we’re able – I had hoped to be in a position to send this last tonight however at this stage this will be sometime later today tomorrow morning.
Please continue to look after yourselves, your whānau and our tamariki.
