Yesterday we had the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra visit our school. A few musicians came out and presented a fun interactive demonstration of their instruments and got the students excited about music! 💙💙

Yesterday the Ranfurly Shield, today a New Zealand Olympian! We were very excited to have Dylan Schmidt join us today to share his story with our Year 5-8 students. Dylan talked about the Olympic Values of Friendship, Respect and Excellence, as well as the importance of persistence and resilience. It was very inspiring hearing about his experiences and learning from his journey.🩵💙🩵

What an unforgettable afternoon at Ōhoka School!
​Thanks to one of our amazing parents, the iconic Ranfurly Shield made a special visit to our school today.
​Seeing the excitement on our students and families faces as they got up close was truly something special. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to share in this awesome rugby experience! 💙🩵💙
