The opening weekend (June 11-12) will begin with a wānanga and pūrakau with notable practitioners Rueben Taipari-Porter and Harry Clarke at Te Tapui Marae.
The next morning a dawn vigil will take place with local kaumatua and kuia guiding the blessings 🪐 on the ātea of Te Tapui marae. Followed by parakuihi and wānanga on environmental issues within the rohe.
