🥊🚴 WAHOO! We’re ready to get BOXING & BIKING! 🚴🥊

A HUGE thank you to Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa – Boxing and Biking for Hauora! Thanks to this amazing support, our boxing room is all set up and ready for our tamariki to put to use! 🎉🥊

With the incredible help and support of Active Southland and Southern Queens Boxing Gym, our Senior Leadership Boxing Team are officially GLOVED UP and ready to begin their boxing journey! 🥊💪

🚲 And it’s not just about the boxing! Our new bike repair stand is also ready to roll, giving our tamariki the opportunity to get hands-on, learn how to look after and repair bikes, and build some awesome practical skills along the way! 🔧🚲

We can’t wait to see our tamariki building confidence, fitness, resilience and new skills while having plenty of fun!

A huge thank you to Kiel Brodie and his Bayleys boot drive for generously donating rugby boots for our kids! Our tamariki are absolutely stoked with their new boots and can’t wait to put them to good use. We really appreciate your kindness and support — you’ve certainly put some big smiles on their faces!

Our tamariki were out on the field today getting ready for their upcoming league tournament! They spent the session going through the basics, building their skills, and learning from their new coaches.

Lots of energy, teamwork, and smiles out there — the children are absolutely loving it!

UPDATE - we are all sorted. THANK YOU very much.

Do you have any rugby boots hiding in the back of the cupboard that have been outgrown but still have plenty of life left in them?

We are looking for spare rugby boots that could be donated for our tamariki to use.

If you have any pairs you no longer need, we would be very grateful if you could drop them into the school office.

Big boots, little boots, muddy boots… we’ll happily give them a new home!
