🚨 Overdue - but important! 🚨
Congratulations to on her performance up at the National Champions where she secured two silver medals.
Sara is both diligent and obsessed. While a lot of people turn up to training, go home and forget about jiu jitsu. Sara lives it as a way of life. She has a study schedule, gym schedule, looks after her body and nutrition, and plans amazing kids classes. She does all of this without neglecting the other important things in her life.
Sara looks after all of the new women into the club - giving advice, making time to provide individual training and planning social events and trips. In the kids class, Sara shows a kind and caring approach but also holds the young ones accountable. She sets a positive example about what can be achieved through hard work.
Sara is one of the most active female competitors on the NZ grappling scene and provides a blueprint for other women and girls from our club wanting to do the same. On a circuit where women sometimes find it hard to find a match up Sara turns up.
We are really proud of you Sara! Thank you for everything that you do and we can't wait to see what the year ahead holds for you.
