We enjoyed an indoor playgroup session today in our amazing big hall! The children had lots of fun running around, jumping on the big mats, dressing up, and spending some quiet time reading books. It was a great way to stay active, use our imaginations, and enjoy time together indoors.

Over the last few weeks, the kids have been getting crafty with lots of fun activities, making playdough, and enjoying dressing up. We are very lucky to have the new hall space to run around and play in too.
Today we celebrated Mila’s 5th birthday and wish her all the very best as she starts her school journey. We also said farewell to Lewanna, who has been such a wonderful part of our group. Thank you for all your amazing help and support — you will be missed!

Welcome back to Term 2! We’ve had a crisp start with some fresh snow around ❄️
This week the children created a special wreath to support ANZAC Day, each adding their own paper handprint. The wreath now hangs proudly in the playgroup window. Such a lovely way to come together and remember ❤️

Wow — one whole term already done for the year! We’ve loved making the most of the sunny Thursdays together ☀️
To finish off the term, we had a fun trip to Brooklands Zoo where the kids enjoyed seeing the animals and playing on the playground 🐒🛝
We have also celebrated Lucia turning 5 — wishing her all the very best as she starts school! 🎉🎒

We have been busy the last couple of weeks exploring the outdoors. Last week the kids did a scavenger hunt around the school, which they loved.
This week we went for a forest walk and collected different things to use in a craft activity, we also got to see our eel friend.
The kids are also loving the new sandpit.
It’s been lovely getting outside and enjoying some fresh air together.

We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday break and a great start to 2026! It’s been so lovely seeing everyone again and having the kids back together playing and catching up.

We’ve kicked the term off with lots of fun play, and this week the children made bird feeders. They had such a great time putting them together in the sunshine, and they look fantastic hanging up in the garden 🐦☀️

We also celebrated Max's last day and wish him all the best for his school years 😊

We had such a fun morning out at the Kaimiro Strawberry Farm today! 🍓
The kids had a little learning session about how to spot the ripest berries and the best way to pick them, then they were off to fill their tubs with their own juicy finds.

To top it all off, we finished with their delicious fruit ice creams — the perfect treat on a sunny morning. 🍦🌞

Today we went exploring through the school gorge walk and had a great time feeding the eels! The kids were so fascinated watching the eels up close and loved climbing over the obstacles along the way — such a fun little adventure!

We also celebrated Meihana turning 5 🥳 Wishing him all the best as he heads off to school — we’ll miss you at playgroup! 🎂🎒
