A group of students from Barbier visited Marinoto Rest Home yesterday morning to continue building their relationships with their pen pals. Some of our were students visiting for the first time due to several pen pals competing at either Kahui Cross Country or the AIMs games. As always, there was a lot of chatter, laughter and fond memories shared. Such lovely vibe.

Mystery Auction in Barbier this afternoon!!! Students have been depositing their ‘Banqer Buck’ rewards throughout the term and today were able to bid on mystery prizes. Students were able to feel each prize and note down the numbers they liked the feel of as well as making an auction paddle for the main event. We had two students being the auctioneers and a classroom full of laughter and competitiveness. Some students decided to join their money when funds were starting to run low 😊 It also became a time for swapping after the event 🤭

Huge congratulations to our two incredible teams who represented our Kura at the EPro8 Challenge in Stratford last week! Both teams showed outstanding problem-solving skills, creativity, and fantastic teamwork under pressure.
A special shoutout to our Senior Team, who snagged 4th place and officially qualified for the Finals next week! We are so proud of your hard work and can't wait to root for you in the next round.
A massive thank you to Camille Monforte for stepping in to transport both teams to the event and supervise. Generous support like yours makes these awesome opportunities possible for our students!

What a joyful day for our school community! ✝️
We are so excited to celebrate Miss Robertson taking this special next step in her faith journey through baptism! Having our whole school family together to surround her with love and support made the moment truly unforgettable.

Beyond the celebration, it was an incredible learning experience for our tamariki—especially those who are curious about baptism, considering it themselves, or had never witnessed a ceremony before. 💚
