Taranaki Medieval Society My name is Matthew Poehler and I am the Captain of the TMS. I can be reached at [email protected] for more information.

We are a re-enactment society based in New Plymouth specialising in cross time period re-enactment. We have people that learn and fight at several levels from the Knight School for 8 years old and up. We teach Weapons and hand to hand combat based on Western Martial Arts. We also have several other aspects from Crafting through to Archery, and even Roman re-enactment. This page is for everyone int

erested in our society and our friends from around the country. Please see the NZ Combat Calendar for the schedule and location for not only the TMS, but for many other Medieval groups around the country with Training and Events happening all the time!

We had a great time out at Mitre10 for the Sizzle today! We met a bunch of people and raised some great cash for the storage container!

Greetings one and all!

After the success of the last Feast we have move the venue to the Inglewood Club. We had to limit seats last time after seating the max of seventy two people, so now with a bigger venue we are aiming for one hundred guests!

All of what made the last feast so much fun is back and we have added new things to keep the event fresh. If you are looking for an end of the year event for your Club, Office or Work Group drop us an email and book your seats. We will do all the organising and you can concentrate on enjoying yourself!
