🤖Día tres - Te Rā tuatoru - Day three🤖

(Sorry for the delay - stuck in Mexico time 😜)

Final day with 2 matches to start, we finished in #17 out of 29 teams, which we were very proud of our efforts.

An exciting finals competition where we experienced how Argentina, Mexico and Brazil celebrate and support their fellow teams 🎉📣🎉!

Well done to .team from Mexico and from Argentina 🥇

🤖Día Dos - Te Rā Tuarua - Day Two🤖

Today we had a beautiful cultural experience with the opening ceremony of the competition. Harper and Astrid represented New Zealand, Harper wearing our kapa haka uniform proudly (note the Australian Flag 🫠)

We also shared some goodies from New Zealand. World famous in NZ - Hokey Pokey chocolate and Jet Planes of course. We tasted some delicious treats from around the world and have a great collection of stickers and badges.

We had some technical difficulties with our robot to start the day but with help from another team (that mainly spoke Spanish) we were ready to go. With 2 losses and 2 wins we are sitting #17 for the beginning of day 3.

Excited for the third and final day!

🤖HOLA FROM MEXICO🤖

Our robotics team ‘Precise Variable’ have made it safely to Mexico and are set up ready for their competition today.

🤖Robots in Mexico 🤖

Our robotics team has headed off on their journey to Mexico to compete against 70 other teams from around the world. They have been working hard all holidays and have left their notes for students to see when term starts on Monday.

Good luck to our team - we know you will represent our little country school well!

Sportswear Day ...

A diverse spread of sports were represented by students yesterday, so much fun. M***i was fundraising for our Senior Sports Camp in September.

We even had a special guest to greet our sports guys and gals at the gate... a lot of smiles/giggles and confused looks were shown to our guest... a photo opportunity too... maybe an autograph or two also 😇😁
