Free Art, Music and Movement therapy sessions for whānau and tamarki up to 5 years.
Starting this Friday, 20th of September.
We will have Marcia visit for Art, Music and Movement therapy session!
11:15am at Hukerenui Playcentre- She will be with us every Friday for 10 weeks.
(last 2 fridays of this term and then the first 6 fridays in Term 4)
ALL WELCOME - Come along even if you aren't usually enrolled at Playcentre.

Whānau Flourish is free for whānau to attend, and each whānau receives a Whānau Flourish journal, which will be used for art making and learning throughout the programme. They will get to keep this as a record and handbook for their whānau.

✨Friday Transition Programme for 4yr olds to Hukerenui School✨

Thinking about your child going to Hukerenui School when they turn 5 in 2024 or 2025? 🗓️

When they are 4 yrs old they can do a weekly Transition every Friday from Hukerenui Playcentre to Hukerenui School:

This is a great opportunity for your 4 year old child to become familiar with Hukerenui School environment: where to hang their bag, where the toilets are, where to eat their lunch, what their classroom looks like, who their teacher is and most importantly how to make friends.

This way when your child starts school they are confident in themselves, with much less anxiety and will put all their energy into their learning ✨

TV3's AM Show will be spotlighting Playcentre on Monday 21 August. They will be broadcasting two live segments, one at 7.30am and one at 8.30am, promoting Playcentre and the benefits of messy play for early childhood development.
