📚📚BOOKARAMA HELP NEEDED THIS SATURDAY 📚📚

📣 Calling all our amazing Shelly Park School community - Howick Rotary need our help sorting books for their annual Bookarama.

In return, the rotary club will make a donation to our School PTA, to support our fundraising initiatives.

If you have any time free over the next few Saturday mornings, please drop me a message or email the pta.

Saturday, Uxbridge Road, Howick, 9am. Ideally we need 4 people each Saturday morning please - you don’t have to sign up to do every Saturday, even one is greatly appreciated!

The night has finally come!

Just a few points for tomorrow and please feel free to ask any questions if I have missed anything!

+ Doors open at 6:45pm.
+ Photobooth starts at 7pm for 2 hours.
+ Quiz start at 7:30pm and should be finished by 10:30pm followed by DJ until midnight.
+ Feel free to bring snacks for your table and non alcoholic drinks.
+ B**r and w**e will be available to purchase for $3 each (to cover costs). This will need to be cash payment.
+ Pizzas will also be provided for each table during the quiz.
+ You can bring decorations for your table if you want, to go with your theme. This is totally optional!

Hopefully that is everything. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

OUR NOTORIOUS QUIZ NIGHT IS ONLY A WEEK AWAY!

You can still purchase tickets at the school office.

Please check the following update!

1. Bar & Drinks Update (No BYO)

To ensure we comply with legal requirements, we have secured an official liquor licence and hired a certified bar manager for the evening. Under the conditions of this licence, BYO alcohol is strictly prohibited on school grounds.

To keep things affordable, the Board is providing drinks at cost price rather than as a fundraiser:

Alcoholic drinks (B**r, W**e, C***r, RTDs): $3.00

Non-alcoholic drinks: $2.00

💵 Please remind your table to bring cash for the bar!

2. Food & Catering

You are still very welcome to bring your own food and nibbles for your table! In addition, the Board will be providing pizzas and snacks for each table to enjoy throughout the night.

3. Event Highlights

Everything else you love about Quiz Night remains the same! Get ready for our trivia quiz, Mingo (Music Bingo), the photobooth, and a few fun mini-games.

Thank you for your help in sharing this with your table. We’re looking forward to a fantastic community night!
