COVID Framework update:
We’ve been reflecting long and hard on our implementation of the COVID-19 Framework.
Our motivation has been to create a safe environment for our stallholders, our customers and to remain inclusive of the more vulnerable people in our community. This combined with the recent cases of COVID-19 in our neighbouring city, led us to take a cautious approach.
We've completed a Worksafe Risk Assessment of Motueka Sunday Market and have reached the conclusion that we can operate our market safely without the need for fencing and the requirement of Vaccine Passes for the general public while we are at Orange Setting.
You may ask, how is the market still safe if a week ago a vaccine pass was required, what’s changed?
The answer is quite simple. We’ve taken targeted measures behind the scenes where we’ve identified the greatest level of risk to the public and to our stallholders. When we combine these measures with the requirement to social distance and face coverings for both customers and stallholders, an outdoors setting and a highly vaccinated population, We’re comfortable that we have taken all reasonable steps to mitigate the risk posed by COVID-19.
Please continue to:
🎅Scan QR Codes around the market.
