THANK YOU!!!!!

What an amazing day we had at Hurunui College 7aside today! The sun was shining, which made our fundraising efforts even more enjoyable.

A huge thank you to Hellers for donating the sausages and to Fonterra for supplying the delicious flavoured milk. Your support means so much to us!
As a PTA team, we would also like to say a massive thank you to everyone who supported us by ordering lunches and visiting our shop throughout the day. Your support helps us continue to provide great opportunities and experiences for our students.
We couldn't do it without our wonderful school and community!

Hi everyone,

It's that time of year again – we're getting ready for the 7 Aside Tournament Tuesday 18th of August ( 20th postponed)

For those who haven't been before, 7 Aside is a fantastic day where students from Years 4–8 compete in netball, soccer, and touch rugby, with schools from across the area coming together.

As we do every year, the Hurunui College PTA will be running the canteen and preparing the pre-ordered lunch packs.

We're looking for volunteers to help on the day:

Morning shift: 9:00 am – 11:30 am

- 3–4 volunteers, plus a few extra helpers to prepare the lunch orders.

Afternoon shift: 11:15 am – 2:00 pm

- 3–4 volunteers.

We're also looking for donations of:

- 2 slices
- 2 dozen muffins (for the canteen)

Biscuit Bakers Needed!

We're looking for 6 confident bakers who can each make 4 dozen biscuits for the pre-ordered lunch bags. As the biscuits will be packed into lunches, they need to be a consistent size.

We'll provide:

- The recipe
- 500 g butter
- 1 tin of condensed milk

If you're able to help by volunteering, baking, or donating, we'd really appreciate it. Events like this are only possible because of the amazing support from our school community.

Hurunui College PTA was catering for Hurunui Primary Schools seven A-side tournament last week. Weather wasn't at its best, but PTA helpers had a great time selling sausages kindly donated by Hellers!!!!!, home baking and deliciouse Coupland pies, keeping everyone's energy levels up.
