I always think of what I want to work on for the month in my work and reflect that out, I lead with my intuition for myself and the collective.
This month I’ve turned my heart toward ‘Unravel to create s p a c e’ and something about it just feels bet alive!

So why do that ‘for new things, experiences and downloads, baby.’ As quoted by Stef from

This isn’t a surface level declutter it’s a somatic downshift. With the Full Moon in Scorpio on the 1st revealing what’s been hidden or tightly held rises to the surface. Samhain, a threshold. A release. Slowing down, shedding layers, becoming more sensitive and intuitive. A pull inward rather than outward.
And Ta**us season richly holds us slowly, grounded & body-led. Here in New Zealand, it’s autumn, meaning everything lets go to eventually make was for anew.

Unravelling to create space’ looks like:

Removing the gripping.Letting the inauthentic versions of self loosen and fall away. Releasing old stories, roles, identities you’ve been holding yourself inside of.
Allowing what’s not true or unmatched in frequency to unravel & fall away with grace. We turn the unravelling into space into capacity to receive more of the good stuff.

Flipping the story around changed my life. I used to believe my body was against me. That I was broken. That my nervous system was just off. That I’d forever live in an unhealed state, physically & mentally.

Through my work I now see it differently. My body has been speaking to me this whole time, I just wasn’t listening. Or rather I didn’t know how to.

Pain. Anxiety. Inflammation… they’re not random.
They don’t disappear when you ignore them.
They get louder until you listen. For me that was a forced stop for totally reset & reassessment. I’m actually happy it happened because it made me understand

The question isn’t ‘why is this happening to me?’ It’s ‘can I meet this with compassion?’

Because what if it’s not the problem but the message?

Maybe she’s keeping me safe with her warnings. Guiding my attention to where I’m over looking. Calling me back to myself to recalibrate.

And when I started treating my body the way I would someone I love with tenderness, care and grace things began to heal & I got reprieve from my symptoms.

Not overnight but through a reciprocal relationship.

I’m still learning but I’ll take this softer way over
‘she’ll be right’ any day.

Because this my friends, this is actually self love.

If I was overwhelmed, burnt out or short on time and I could only do one thing for my whole-being wellness, this would be it. Actually there was a time that it was just this!

I would bookend my day with these practices starting with intention and ending with alignment to keep myself in a check. Everything else I’d do for my nervous system after that was just a bonus. Sometimes it’s still that way…

It’s just 20 minutes a day, split into two simple blocks. 10 in the AM and 10 at PM. Everyone has that time; you’re just choosing whether to put down the phone, switch off Netflix and to do this when you wake up and before you go to bed. Harsh but true!

It’s easy to forget the magic when s**t gets heavy. And I’m not saying that this is going to some all the problems right now but it’s better than being bitter.

I had a brief chat yesterday with a friend (and legend) about how the anger is brewing… but we’re choosing not to drop into the gutter with it. Choosing to channel that into adaption, flow, creativity & not giving up.

There’s a fu***ng lot going on right now. And the real work feels like that is balancing the being aware of what’s unfolding, without losing ourselves in it.
But also actively choosing to find peace, love, magic, gratitude, union & showing up in purpose & delivering with meaning still. For me that feels like the balance.
As hard as that is, we must. That’s the good stuff & the rebellion.

To combat my WTFs I chose to get amongst the trees yesterday & let my eyes feast on the beauty of the day whilst the sun beat down on me as I stomped my frustrations into the earth to be reabsorbed & reused.

In these times, I MOVE through the bulls**t physically with my body, I tap to cool my jets & then I let the gratitude ooze from my pores. And sometimes I ugly cry in the car.

Let it out, keep up with your rituals, stay connected to God/source & the ones you love x
