The Yummy sticker promotion is set to go again for 2022, time to get crunching apples and pears.

Please collect stickers and cut out codes.

You can bring the sticker into each classroom or put a chart up on your fridge to collect, then bring the sheet in. You can get these off the yummy website or collect a sheet from the school office. Last year we got some awesome sports equipment to top up the and classroom resources with all the stickers collected.

One difference this year is the Hailstone Hero apple bags. The wild spring storm in Hawkes Bay, damaging a significant amount of The Yummy Co apple crop with hail. Although these look funny, they still taste yummy. The official cut-out is not on these bags, but you can collect the round bar-code sticker as 10 points. These are Yummy apples but branded Hailstone Heroes and available in both New World and Pak’n Save.

TONIGHT - Monday 28th March is the Home and School Association Inc AGM
(same as a PTA/ Friends of the school etc).
Venue: School Hall Time: 7:30pm.

We will have some vacancies such as Board of Trustees rep and Secretary - so if you are able to offer your skills with only 2 meetings a term, we'd love to hear from you if you wish to know more or wish to be nominated.
It’s great to have a good representation across the year groups. You are very welcome to come along, get involved and have a say.
See the Tuesday Times for the meeting papers.
The 2nd committee meeting of the year will follow the AGM.
We offer zoom for those unable to get babysitters or who do not wish to physically come. Please advise if you are planning to come (so we can ensure we are following the correct procedures/numbers with covid regulations) or if you would like the zoom link.

Uniform Shop

With the current red traffic light settings in place we have a few rules regarding the uniform shop!

The uniform shop will be open this Wednesday morning, this first day of school. There will be a one in one out policy and compulsory mask wearing.
I will endeavour to be open at 8:15am.
If you know what sizes/items you require you can email [email protected] and I am happy to drop items to your child's classroom on that 1st Wednesday.

Uniform Shop

Hi all,
With the current red traffic light settings in place we have a few rules regarding the uniform shop!

We are open this Saturday from 10am-12pm (slightly longer if we still have people waiting!) out on the verandah at the side of the school hall.

We require masks to be worn and for you to keep a safe distance away from others This means we will have to regulate the amount of people coming through. It will be set up as a one way system to avoid congestion.

If you know what sizes/items you require you can email this through to me the day before and we will bag them up ready for you to just pick up and pay for.

The actual uniform shop will be open on the Wednesday morning school re-starts, this will be a one in one out policy and compulsory mask wearing. I will endeavour to be open at 815.

I am happy to drop items to your child's classroom on that 1st Wednesday if you order and pay online, save coming in when we could be very busy.

Reminder - get your Calendar Art orders in by this Wednesday 17th Nov.

Calendar Art Fundraiser

Each year HNP Home and School organises a calendar art fundraiser. Last term the children produced a piece of art with their class, which through this fundraiser, can be printed on calendars, greeting cards, diaries, mousepads and sketch pads. These make great Christmas presents for yourself, grandparents or anyone else who would appreciate a personal gift.

Each child who completed calendar art last term will have received an order form at school last week. The form is unique to your child, with an individual code to enter at www.kidsartworks.com to order their artwork (similar to the school photo orders). This year we again have Smencils (smelly pencils/colouring pens) available to add to your order.

Orders are now open and must be received by 7:00 pm Wednesday, 17 November. You can order as many times as you would like between now and then.

You can also upload other children's artwork in the family or a family photo to make a Christmas card etc. Be creative! Great if you can support this fundraiser since we have had to cancel Blast in the Park.
The final cards, diaries, etc will be sent to school before the end of the school year.

If your child has not come home with a form, please email [email protected] with your child's name and room number.

We are gutted that the Peak Trail Blazer has had to now be completely cancelled. A huge thank you to everyone involved trying to get it over the line. Bring on 2022!
