Last week, we were fortunate to have Ernest and Tiare from Ngā Whenua Rāhui visit Room 7. They shared their knowledge about our native birds and the pests that threaten them.
Tamariki had the opportunity to explore various taxonomy and watch two different pest traps in action, using fruit to demonstrate how they work. It was a fantastic hands-on learning experience that helped tamariki understand the importance of protecting and caring for our precious native taonga.

A big thank you to Ernest and Tiare for sharing their time, knowledge and passion with us.
