✨ Our playground has had a makeover! ✨
What a difference! Our outdoor space has been given a much-needed upgrade, with fresh artificial grass, new surfacing, a beautiful new sandpit area, fencing and plenty of space ready for our tamariki to explore, play and create. 🌿☀️
We are so excited to see our tamariki make the most of their refreshed outdoor environment. There are going to be plenty of adventures out here!

✨ Magic Water for Waitī ✨
Today the tamariki explored a magic water activity linked to Waitī, the Matariki star connected to freshwater and the creatures that live within it. Using wooden ice-block sticks, they carefully guided different coloured water droplets across an oiled plastic sleeve to their matching colours.
The tamariki were fascinated as the droplets slipped and glided across the surface, building their concentration, colour recognition, coordination and problem-solving skills along the way. 💧🎨

🌱 Growing with Tupuānuku 🌱

Today our tamariki got their hands dirty planting broccoli and beetroot as we celebrated Tupuānuku, the Matariki star that represents everything grown within the earth.

As we cared for our garden together, we explored where our food comes from and the importance of looking after the whenua that nourishes us. We can't wait to watch our broccoli and beetroot grow over the coming weeks! 💚
