As I head home after the final evening of our three nights of 3-Way Conferences, I have such a warm feeling in my heart.
Over the past three evenings, our school has been filled with positive conversations, smiles, encouragement, and a shared commitment to our tamariki. Seeing students proudly sharing their learning, teachers celebrating progress and setting goals, and whānau taking the time to talk about how they can support learning at home has been incredibly uplifting.
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing staff who have stayed late each evening and spent many hours preparing to ensure every conference was meaningful and worthwhile. Your passion, dedication, and genuine care for every child shines through in everything you do.
Thank you also to our wonderful whānau who left the comfort of your warm homes to join us. Your presence sends a powerful message to your children—that their learning matters and that we are working together to help them succeed.
These evenings remind me what a special community Hastings Central School is. We are surrounded by people who care deeply about our tamariki, believe in their potential, and work together to help them thrive.
