One of our amazing students, Isabella, has been doing some incredible work through her preloved clothing business.

Isabella resells preloved items and chooses to put a portion of her profits back into our community. This month, she has been collecting and donating items to Pregnancy Help Hastings and Napier, including a baby bassinet and four boxes of preloved baby clothes and blankets.

What an amazing example of kindness and generosity! 🌟

A huge thank you to our Jammies for June contributors across the rohe for helping us get warm pyjamas into the hands of tamariki at Parkvale School.

As the winter weather continues, something as simple as a warm pair of PJs can make a real difference to a child's comfort, sleep and wellbeing.

We're grateful to everyone who has, and continues to, donate and support Jammies for June, helping ensure more local children stay warm this winter. Together, we're making a difference for Hawke's Bay whānau.

Kia ora e ngā whānau

Welcome back to Term 3 at Parkvale kura. The tamariki have settled in well to their mahi. Room 12 and Room 1 have joined together to be this year's Envirokids/Kaitiaki for our school environment.

We have made a pledge on the Global site to reduce soft plastics being brought to school. We also have a bucket in our rooms to collect soft plastics instead of putting them in our Landfill bin.

One of the student's family owns 'Binn Inn' and it was so amazing to see his advertisement on Facebook. I thought I would link it here also for you to check out and support.

Well done to all three flippaball teams who made it into the finals for their grades this term.
Both Ika (yr 5/6) and Wheke (yr 4) teams came away with a 2nd place. Wheke playing a golden point nail biting final! Tepetepe (yr 5) came away with 1st place in a nail biting golden point final. Well done to all teams for showing great teamwork throughout the term 2 season. Everyone should be very proud of their success in the pool! Thank you to our amazing coaches who support these tamariki each week. 🤽
