Mānawatia a Matariki

What a way to finish the term!

Thank you to everyone involved with our Matariki Breakfast and for coming along to celebrate. We know it was a cold and early start so thank you for making the early morning trip! Big thank you to Mel form Town and Country Coffee for warming everyone up with lovely hot chocolates and drinks! Thank you to the Friends of Hampden School for your support! Thank you to our incredible staff making these events always run so seamlessly with all of your effort, thank you to our school whānau and last but not least our incredible students sharing their waiata, art and Matariki learning.

Our last week was full of laughter, running, local trips to learn about our beautiful titipounamu and penguins, kai and mahi.

Please have a lovely Term break and we can’t wait to get back for Term 3! Stay safe ❤️

Teacher Only Day on Monday made for a short week! We had Jim in for our awesome compost workshop 🙌 🌳 the chess tournament♟️hockey practice and games, Playgroup, Kuriiti’s ice cream experiment🍦and lastly we ended the week with Pink Shirt Day and assembly ☺️
