🏉 WIMS Rugby Sevens 🏉

Our u57kg boys sevens team had an awesome day at the WIMS Rugby Sevens tournament in Matamata on Tuesday!

It was a tough day of footy, with the boys only coming together recently… but they all had fun and gave it their best which is all we can ask for! Highlight of the tournament was an epic try from Hunter Howlett-Avery, scoring the lads a frozen coke shout on the trip home 🙌🏽

Ngā mihi to Matamata Intermediate for putting on a great day, and to Dylan Wilson (Coach) and Simon Humble (TIC) for their awesome mahi on the day 🤩

Our RHS u14 Rugby Boys are looking dangerous as they head into finals footy this weekend! 🔥🏈

The team are feeling positive after their 24-19 win over Hauraki Plains College in the weekend, and are ready for their rematch vs. St John's College u14 Blue in the quarter finals on Saturday.

If you want to come down and support the boys, here are the details:

Congratulations to Jonathan and Constance, who competed in round 3 of the Auckland Karate League over the weekend, both achieving Bronze Medals in the 12-13 years Kumite division!🥉

Both students have been praised for their fantastic display of skill, determination and sportsmanship on the day. Competing at this level takes courage, commitment, and plenty of preparation, and their achievements are a great reflection of their hard work 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

WAIKATO SECONDARY SCHOOL ROCK CLIMBING CHAMPS

🥈 A massive congratulations to our RHS Rockclimbing team of Sasha, Max, Kaelyn, Alex, Paxton, and Conrad who competed at the Waikato Secondary Schools Team Rock climbing champs on Wednesday and finished 2nd!

Netball Spotlight - RHS9A

Our RHS9A Netball team have been lighting up the courts with some amazing performances so far in 2026.

They currently sit on top of their A grade table in round 3, after a season featuring 7 wins, 1 draw, and 2 losses through the first rounds.

Saturday was one of their best games they played all season, putting on an incredibly complete performance throughout the court.

Coached by one of our Snr Prem players, Brianna, they have gelled as a team and are playing a fantastic brand of netball. Well done to the girls. Keep up the good work, and all the best for the rest of the season.

50 caps for Emily Skipwith! 🤩🙌

Congratulations to Emily Skipwith, who recently played her 50th game for our RHS 1st XI Girls Football Team! This milestone is the result of her hard work and dedication to RHS football over the years, and we couldn't be prouder! 🥹

Well done, Emily! ⚽️🧡💙

Big shout out to senior high student, Flynn Allison, who represented Waikato in Division 1 of the New Zealand Junior Teams Championships which were held in Palmerston North during the school holidays 🏸

The team competed in two ties a day, over four days of competition, with each tie being a combination of singles and doubles matches. In the end, Flynn and his teammates, managed to bring home the bronze medal! Congrats! 🏆🥉
