🪬Tainui Rangatahi Leadership Wānanga🪬

He Tupu Pua Hou | Rangatahi Leadership Wānanga focuses on Rangatahi, aged between 16 – 19 years old (Y12 – Y13 tauira), that live in the Waikato region, and whakapapa to Tainui Waka.

This event is in collaboration with manawhenua of Te Koopuu Maania o Kirikiriroa Wintec Te Pūkenga on the 28th - 30th of August 2023

This 3 day event He Tupu Pua Hou aims to:
🌀Promote and highlight the leadership capability of our Tainui Rangatahi within the Waikato region.
🌀Engage Tainui Rangatahi in a range of wānanga guided by Mātauranga Māori (including, Tikanga and Te Reo Māori), to further develop and grow their leadership skills.
🌀Identify Tainui Rangatahi needs and prepare them for their future education and career pathways.

We cannot wait to see you all today at 4.30 rain or shine we are going ahead!

Our whare is big enough to keep you all dry and warm if the rain decides to pay a visit. Hanakoko is already flying over from the North Pole ready to give away presents to the first 200 tamariki.

Heaps to see, do and eat. There will be plenty of kai and entertainment waiting for you and your whānau.

So don’t be shy, haere mai!

She has four children aged five to 12. But that hasn’t stopped Hamilton’s Akesa Taufa achieving her goal of becoming a police officer, with support from Te Wānanga o Aotearoa (TWoA) along the way.
