Morrinsville Road fit for purpose upgrades:

Hamilton City Council is proposing changes to Morrinsville Road to make it safer and easier for people walking, scootering, and biking – especially school children and the local community.

There have been a couple of holdups for getting some last things signed off that can’t be done until Monday morning which means the pool’s opening day isn’t this Sunday but now on Monday the 23rd.

We are delighted to have the school pool open over the summer for selected days. If you are looking for things to do or a way to cool down, pop down to the school pool. It costs $4 per swimmer and $2 per non-swimmer. Any swimmers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult (considered 16 and over), swimmers under 8 must be actively supervised by an adult and any swimmers under 5 must be within arm's reach of an adult. We also hope to have some refreshments available for purchase at the pool. Cash entry only so ensure you get some money out before coming down.

Mila is a younger sibling to one of our HNS students who was unfortunately diagnosed at the end of 2023 with a rare condition, CDKL5 Deficiency Disorder. The family are raising money to go travel to the NAPA Centre in Australia, to complete a three week intensive therapy course, which is supposed to be very beneficial for the development of children with disabilities.
