An important part of a tamaiti is the whฤnau behind them, and the culture and language they bring with them. Having whฤnau come in and share has been so wonderful for everyone involved!

For the month of June, we have been exploring who we are, where we come from and the things that are important to our whฤnau. Our tamariki were given black and white photos of themselves and asked to colour themselves in, how they see themselves. We were so impressed with the level of detail our tamariki put into these drawings!
